MAXMOLD® PF80E FEPM Series

MAXMOLD® PF80E is an improved processing version of MAXMOLD® FEPM signed to match MAXMOLD® PF80E closely as possible in terms of fluid resistance. The monomer composition of MAXMOLD® PF80E is virtually but due to optimized polymer structure, the compounds which are based on MAXMOLD® PF80E exhibit the following:

 l  Faster cure rates

l  Improved flow at high shear rates

 l  Slightly higher tensile strength

l  Improved resistance to compression set

l  Equivalent fluid and chemical resistance

Compounds which are based on MAXMOLD® PF80E can be ready processed in the same manner used for mixing, preforming, and molding conventional fluoroelastomers. Processors will note that compounds based on MAXMOLD® PF80E will typically mix slightly faster, extrude somewhat more smoothly, and exhibit less mold sticking than the same compound based on MAXMOLD® PF80E.
